CALGARY — WestJet will again connect John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, in Hamilton, Ont., with Vancouver International Airport in 2017, it was announced Nov. 7.

Service begins April 30, 2017 with four-times weekly service, moving to a daily flight June 28 to Sept. 7 and returning to four-time weekly flights until Oct. 27.
“We heard the citizens of Hamilton and we want to thank them for their loyalty by bringing back even more non-stop service, giving them access to Vancouver’s 27 non-stop routes on approximately 63 daily departures,” said Bob Cummings, WestJet executive vice-president, commercial.
In addition to the Vancouver route, WestJet operates daily service to Calgary from Hamilton and seasonal service to Orlando, Fla. and Cancun, Mexico.
Hamilton/Vancouver flights will operate on WestJet’s Boeing 737NG aircraft featuring Plus premium economy seating and WestJet Connect, WestJet’s inflight entertainment system connected directly to smartphone, tablet or computer. Almost 70 per cent of WestJet’s Boeing fleet is now equipped with WestJet Connect.
Details of WestJet’s new service between Hamilton and Vancouver: Between April 30 and June 28, and Sept. 8 to Oct. 27, 2017, flights will depart Vancouver four times weekly at 10:15 pm and arrive at 5:32 am. In those same time frames, flights will depart Hamilton four times weekly at 6:25 am and arrive at 8:29 am.
From June 29 to Sept. 7, 2017, flights will depart Vancouver daily at 10:15 pm and arrive at 5:32 am, and will depart Hamilton at 6:25 am and arrive at 8:29 am.
