CALGARY — WestJet will launch non-stop twice-weekly service between Calgary International Airport and Nashville’s Metropolitan Nashville Airport beginning May 4, it was announced Jan. 30.

WestJet is adding Calgary-Nashville routes.
Flights from Calgary to Nashville will be operated on WestJet’s Boeing 737 aircraft. In 2016, the airline began service to Nashville from Toronto and currently flies six times weekly on WestJet Encore.
Twice weekly, beginning May 4, flights will depart Calgary at 10am and arrive in Nashville at 2:45pm, and will leave Nashville at 3:40pm, arriving in Calgary at 6:50pm.
In other news, WestJet announced on Jan. 30 that it will reintroduce non-stop service from Halifax, N.S. to Gander, Nfld., as part of its 2017 summer schedule. The year-round route starts daily on April 30.
Daily, beginning April 30, flights will depart Halifax Stanfield International Airport at 12:05pm and arrive at Gander International Airport at 2:19pm, and will leave Gander at 2:50pm, arriving in Halifax at 4:08pm.
