SAN FRANCISCO — The Westin St. Francis has completed a full renovation of the St. Francis Heights and Colonnade, formerly the Imperial Floor and the Roosevelt Room, respectively.
This renovation completes a $9 million restoration of the hotel’s 56,000 square feet of function space.
Situated on the 32nd floor, St. Francis Heights includes the Golden Gate (formerly Alexandra’s) and Mission Bay (formerly Victor’s) spaces offering floor-to-ceiling windows with wraparound vistas of the city and the bay.
The Golden Gate features contemporary natural motifs, abstract patterns and organic decorative lighting, and can accommodate up to 250 people for seated events and 350 for receptions.
Mission Bay’s design scheme offers neo-pastel colours and geometric shapes complementing existing architectural details. The space accommodates up to 140 people for a seated event and 200 guests, reception-style.
Offering views of Union Square, the Colonnade offers picture windows, columns and an intimate bar area. Its design elements were inspired by the shapes and materials from San Francisco’s cable cars, an abstract pattern of the city map, and the curves of the city’s hills. Colonnade can host up to 140 people for a seated event and 200, reception-style.

In addition to its 56,000 square feet of meeting and event space, the hotel houses a number of restaurants, including casual-dining Caruso’s; Clock Bar, offering menus from a specific era; and The Oak Room, serving globally inspired American dishes. Located off the lobby is a space that allows guests to taste and purchase products from California’s Chateau Montelana winery.
