Hosts Global (Hosts), a strategic partner to more than 300 DMCs worldwide, has launched a paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program.
“Our people make a difference every day,” said Jennifer Patino, DMCP, chief executive officer at Hosts Global. “We understand it’s often difficult to make personal or group commitments to give back when there are only so many hours in a work week. Through our new VTO program we aim to eliminate barriers, enable team member fulfillment and encourage proactive involvement throughout our global community.”
This company-wide benefit reinforces the organization’s commitment to actively engage and support the communities where Hosts owned-offices conduct business. The program also provides opportunities for Hosts’ full-time employees to make meaningful impacts through causes or activities that hold personal value and speak to individual or shared passions.
Hosts’ VTO program provides all full-time employees with sixteen hours of annual paid time off to make a difference. “I’m excited to see the positive impacts our employees will make throughout 2018 and beyond,” said Patino. “I hope Hosts’ VTO program inspires others and creates a ripple effect throughout our industry.”
