Call for Volunteers!
The International Woman’s Day Community Event was created by CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) & AIS and supported by The Meeting & Event Industry Community (PCMA, CSAE, MPI & CANSPEP).
On Friday, March 4th we will celebrate International Woman’s Day which is recognized worldwide. Help us celebrate 18 years by volunteering with your peers, including key supporters Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Freeman and Centre Stage AV.
The event will once again take place at the John Innes Community Centre located at 150 Sherborne Street.
Our date to sort and package donations is Sunday, February 28th from noon to 4pm at CAMH’s 33 Russell St. site.
In an effort to improve your volunteer experience and more efficiently serve our guests, organizers ask that you consider the following questions.
1. Would you like to volunteer for the International Woman’s Day Community Event on Friday, March 4th?
(Event is between 9am-4pm. Some partial shifts are available and exact timing will be requested at a later date)
2. Would you like to volunteer to sort and package donations on Sunday, February 28th?
3. 350 Women who rarely experience any kind of indulgence are given a gift bag and additionally have the chance of winning one of the 40 special draw prizes. Can you assist in securing donations of items or funds? If so may I send you documents to outline the event & what type of items we require?
