Srinivas Rao and Johanna Blakley, PhD, will deliver keynote addresses at the 2017 edition of ILEA Live, which is being held August 10-12 in Calgary, AB, reports the International Live Events Association (ILEA).
Rao is the host and founder of The Unmistakable Creative Podcast and author of Unmistakable. In a keynote presentation titled “The Art of Being Unmistakable,” he will share how to ignore best practices, trust intuition, develop creative ideas and breakthrough solutions to solve problems. Attendees will learn how to think like artists, as opposed to marketers.
Blakley is the managing director at the Norman Lear Center, a nonpartisan research and public policy center that studies the social, political, economic and cultural impact of entertainment on the world. In her keynote, “Creative Lessons from the Fashion Industry,” Blakley will demonstrate how a creative industry like fashion continuously drives innovative thought to deliver business results.
“ILEA Live is one of the most valuable forums for live events professionals to come together, share ideas and hear outsiders’ perspectives from experts in parallel industries to drive creative business success,” said ILEA president Judy Brillhart, CSEP, PBC.
Celebrating 30 years of leadership in the live events industry, ILEA Live 2017 will continue to provide a collaborative experience for event producers and live events professionals to strengthen their creative output, sharpen their business strategies and find inspiration.
