Farah Perelmuter and Martin Perelmuter, co-founders of Speakers’ Spotlight, have launched The Spotlight Agency, a premier boutique organization representing internationally and nationally-renowned celebrities from television, music, sports, food, fashion, and décor.
The Spotlight Agency unites talent with brands for services such as spokesperson roles, social media campaigns, and other partnerships. The agency also pairs talent with projects in film and television. Sundance Filardi serves as President.
“We’re thrilled to announce The Spotlight Agency,” says Filardi. “With the ever-growing need from brands and PR and advertising agencies to couple their products and services with the trust and influence that celebrities bring, the time was right to create an agency dedicated exclusively to this burgeoning market.”
The Spotlight Agency’s roster includes celebrities such as Colonel Chris Hadfield; Chef David Rocco; television’s Scott McGillivray. Jessica Mulroney, Tracy Moore and Jessi Cruickshank; and sports star Michael “Pinball” Clemons. During the agency’s soft launch, clients have included P&G, Barilla, Metro, Manulife, Best Buy, Google, Microsoft, Ikea, and more.
Farah and Martin Perelmuter are also the co-founders of the award-winning bureau Speakers’ Spotlight. One of North America’s largest speakers’ bureaus, Speakers’ Spotlight works with clients in more than 30 countries. It was founded 22 years ago.
The Spotlight Agency will share offices with Speakers’ Spotlight in Toronto.
