SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts’ annual Friends in Need holiday campaign raised $36,040 for charities across Canada.
During the holiday season, 10 participating SilverBirch hotels offered guests special holiday rates, with $10 from each room booked during the week of December 21-27 going towards each hotel’s local charity of choice.
“This was the 16th anniversary of the Friends in Need campaign and we want to thank our guests for their continuing support,” says Steve Giblin, president and CEO of SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts. “Thanks to the commitment of our hotels and staff, this year’s campaign surpassed our fundraising goal by 150 per cent with all proceeds supporting local programs in each of our hotels’ communities.”
