STAMFORD, Conn. — Starwood Hotels & Resorts plans to open a Sheraton property in Saint-Hyacinthe, Que., by the end of 2017, it was announced on Sept. 13.
Sheraton Saint-Hyacinthe will feature 205 guestrooms, including 28 suites, spread over 16 floors. The hotel will offer a third-party restaurant, fitness centre and indoor pool, as well as the Sheraton Club Lounge, a private space on the 17th floor serving complimentary breakfast, drinks and evening hors d’oeuvres.
Additionally, the hotel will feature 3,860 square feet of function space spread across six meeting rooms, and will be inside Galeries Saint-Hyacinthe, a commercial/office complex comprising of 150 stores with 500,000 square feet of retail space. The site includes 170,000 square feet of existing office space across several buildings that registers over four million visitors annually.

Starwood’s largest brand, Sheraton has over 440 hotels in more than 72 countries. The brand is currently in the midst of implementing Sheraton 2020, a 10-point plan designed to make Sheraton the global hotel brand of choice, everywhere.
