Culinary expert Thomas Trevethan has been named food & beverage director at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton. In his new role, Trevathan will oversee the culinary, banquet and purchasing departments at the convention centre.
Trevethan brings 15 years of international culinary and management experience and leadership to the job. He has worked with luxury brands such as the Ritz Carlton, Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Marriott Autograph Collection, Caesars Entertainment and the Paris Casino and Resort. In addition, he has received US Senate and Congressional recognition from former presidents Barrack Obama, George W. Bush, and Jimmy Carter, and was invited to the White House by first lady Michelle Obama in 2010.

With executive chef Serge Belair and executive pastry chef Jason Wang now in place, Trevethan joins one of Canada’s top culinary teams.
