The American Association of Petroleum Geologists’ Annual Convention & Exhibition (ACE) has returned to Calgary for the first time in a decade, reports Meetings + Conventions Calgary.
Calgary, which is a global energy centre, has a strong contingent of local geoscientists who will welcome more than 6,000 colleagues from some 72 countries, June 19-22, 2016 at the BMO Centre at Stampede Park.
ACE 2016 is poised to deliver superior content quality. Its technical program received a record number of abstracts, up six per cent from the 2015 event.
“For the very first time the Technical Program Committee accepted less than half of the abstracts submitted, which speaks not only to the record number received but also their overall superior quality,” said Paul MacKay, the conference’s general chair.
