This week 4,500 delegates from Perfect China begin their incentive travel program in Toronto. It is the largest incentive travel group to ever visit Canada, reports Tourism Toronto.
“Perfect China is one of the largest direct-sales companies in the world and destinations from every continent bid hoping to attract them,” said Johanne Belanger, president and CEO of Tourism Toronto, the DMO for the Toronto region. “We are thrilled to welcome the delegates to Toronto. Not only is this an important group for our hospitality industry, but the profile in China that comes from hosting this prestigious event can lead to further incentive travel groups choosing Toronto.”
“Toronto is many ways an ideal destination because it offers the energy and sophistication of downtown plus the opportunity to see natural wonders and beauty in the surrounding areas,” said Tan Sri Dato’ KOO YUEN KIM P.S.M., D.P.T.J.J.P. chairman of Perfect (China) Col, Ltd. “We have felt very welcome from the first moment we began working with Tourism Toronto and look forward to all of our delegates having the opportunity to explore Toronto.”
The groups itinerary includes city tours, the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, City, University of Toronto, visits to different areas including the Distillery District, and day trips to Niagara Falls and the Norman Bethune House in Gravenhurst, which is popular with Chinese visitors due to Dr. Bethune’s work in China. Fifteen hotels are hosting the delegates.
