Meetings & Conventions Calgary (MCC) has added three new staff members to their team. Erin Lee, Janet Russell-Brown and Jennifer Stewart have all assumed roles in business development, where they will be responsible for the creation and implementation of MCC’s sales and marketing strategy.
Alayna Hauser joins MCC as a support to administration duties.
Lee comes to MCC following a six-year stint as sales manager at the Calgary Marriott. Prior to that she was at the Radisson. She will be responsible for business development, Washington, D.C., and international markets.
Russell-Brown has been with Meetings & Conventions Calgary since July, 2010. Janet arrived from the Rimrock Hotel, where she worked as a sales manager for 11 years. She will look after business development, Midwest and Western U.S.
Stewart has been working at MCC for the past 18 months in the position of research coordinator. Prior to that, she was a data media specialist for TravelClick, in Spain. In her new role, she will be responsible for business development, Western Canada and the SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious and Fraternal organization) meetings markets.
