Microsoft has chosen Toronto as the site for its prestigious 2012 Worldwide Partner Conference, slated for July 9-13, 2012, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) and Air Canada Centre (ACC).
More than 15,000 delegates, vendors and suppliers, representing technology companies in 130 countries, are expected to attend.
While most of the action will centre around MTCC and ACC, many other Toronto venues will be involved in the 500-plus events expected to take place.
At least 32 hotels across the Toronto region will host delegates.
Tourism Toronto has committed to create a scholarship programme to assist international students participating in the 2012 conference, with details to follow.
Tourism Toronto will also provide opportunities for students in Ontario’s tourism and hospitality programmes to gain valuable experience in event management through this marquee international conference.
