BETHESDA, MD. — Marriott International, Inc. is about to debut its independent hotels and resorts brand, Tribute Portfolio, in Latin America, it was announced Nov. 3.
By December, the brand will add two independent hotels to its portfolio in Argentina. Arelauquen Lodge, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, will debut in Patagonia, while Auberge du Vin, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, will be located in Argentina’s wine country.
Situated in the Uco Valley, Auberge du Vin, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is located 4,500 feet above sea level and surrounded by vineyards. The property is part of Tupungato Winelands, a country club development comprised of private residences, private vineyards, a polo field and golf course in the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
Auberge du Vin features 29 guestrooms and outdoor and indoor pools overlooking the Andes mountains. In-room massage services are available on-demand. Guests have access to Tupungato golf course and polo fields, the hotel’s fitness centre, and meeting rooms. Epic, the hotel’s full-service restaurant, features regionally inspired dishes created by Julian Del Pino and wines produced in the vineyard.
Approximately 50 miles from the city of Mendoza, the area is served by a regional airport that operates flights providing access to and from several cities within Argentina as well as to Santiago, Chile.
Arelauquen Lodge, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel is part of the Arelauquen Golf and Country Club, and sits on a natural reserve spanning over 550 hectares. Featuring 28 rooms, the lodge offers the amenities of Arelauquen Golf and Country Club, which include an 18-hole golf course, two polo fields, an equestrian centre, tennis and squash courts, trekking trails and a yacht club at the Gutierrez Lake. There’s also onsite restaurant Epic by Chef Julian Del Pino.
Tribute Portfolio debuted in April 2015 with its first hotel, the Royal Palm South Beach Miami, and has since opened 10 additional properties across North America, Europe and Asia.
In addition to those hotels announced today, the brand will soon open new hotels in Asheville, NC; Charleston, SC; Denver, Colo.; Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Houston, Texas; Jalan Besar, Singapore; Nashville, Tenn.; San Diego, Calif.; Santa Fe, NM; Savannah, Ga.; Shanghai, China; St. Louis, Mo.; Tampa, Fla.; Quebec City; and Ubud, Bali.
