LAKE LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND — Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne is accepting bookings for incentive groups for March and will be open to other guests by June, it was announced last month.

For meetings and events, the resort’s 23,762-square-foot conference centre will feature up-to-date technology and 30 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 900 delegates. Also onsite will be a 5,380-square-foot lakeview ballroom.
On the accommodations side, the resort features the Burgenstock Hotel, The Palace Hotel and the Pension Taverne.

Built in 1904, The Palace Hotel has been re-created as a boutique-style property whose 108 rooms and suites are outfitted with natural stone, wood and leather.
Pension Taverne features 12 chalet-style rooms complete with wireless music systems and luxury bathrooms. A 65-seat restaurant dishes up Swiss specialties.
On the wellness side, the 107,600-square-foot Bürgenstock Alpine Spa houses 15 treatment rooms and three private spa rooms. The outdoor spa features three pools, one protected as a historical monument; a Kneipp bath, a private garden with its own labyrinth; and an infinity pool. A restaurant serves an organic menu.
Situated between Lake Lucerne and the Alps, Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne is 20 minutes from Lucerne and an hour from Zurich Airport, with direct flights from several U.K. airports. Private speedboat transfers and an onsite helipad are available.
