Canadian Meetings + Events Expo (CMEExpo) has launched a brand-new virtual learning series for meetings and events professionals called the Speaker Series.
The new virtual webinar series will feature exclusive interviews with top industry leaders and experts about topics that matter to you.
“I’m excited about the possibilities surrounding the CMEE Speaker Series,” Melissa Arnott, director of events for CMEExpo. “Our live event is known for its gold-star education and to be able to deliver the same level of content through webinars will allow us to inspire our community of meeting professionals in a new way.”
The first-ever Speaker Series episode is set for Wednesday, May 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT, and will feature an in-depth conversation with Heather Reid, founder and CEO of Planner Protect.
Titled Sharpen your negotiation skills for current-day contract conversations, the virtual event will examine the current landscape of contract negotiations. Reid will discuss force majeure and share what contract lessons her clients have learned to date, and provide insights on future considerations for events and contracts.
Attendees can expect educational takeaways from the event, including reviewing termination and force majeure clauses, and how to navigate your future events and how contract negotiations can support them.
