Michael Prescott, CEO of The International Centre, is retiring on June 30, 2018 after 23 years of service.
The International Centre‘s vice-president, Trevor Graham and its chief financial officer, Dany Lester, will take on the roles of co-chief operating officers when the facility’s long-time chief executive officer Michael Prescott retires at the end of this month.
Prescott has headed up the staff at The International Centre, a leading trade show and conference venue located in Mississauga, Ontario, for more than two decades. “It has been a great source of pride to help build The International Centre over the last 23 years,” he said. “During this time, the facility has grown to be a leading venue in Canada for meeting and event planners. This is truly a testament to the hard work, commitment and inspiration of our staff, partners and clients.”
Prescott, who was inducted last August into Meetings + Incentive Travel’s Hall of Fame as an Industry Veteran, helped shape the industry for nearly four decades.

Dany Lester will take over as chief operating officer, Finance and Real Estate Operations. In his new role, he will oversee all financial and real estate operations, including the Toronto International Design Centre. Lester has been with The International Centre for 25 years. Prior to joining The International Centre team, he managed a large and diverse Canadian real estate portfolio for Trucena Properties Limited.
Trevor Graham will assume the role of chief operating officer, Operations. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of The International Centre and its various departments. Graham joined The International Centre in March 2013 as vice-president of sales and was promoted to vice-president in 2016. He has an extensive background in hospitality management, both in operational roles as well as sales and marketing. Prior to joining the Centre, he was vice-president of operations for the O’Neill Hotel Group in Vancouver.
