MISSISSAUGA, ONT. — The International Centre has appointed Arshan Hussaini sustainability officer, it was announced Sept. 28.
In his most recent role as environmental energy analyst with the Town of Oakville (Ontario), Hussaini oversaw and managed multiple municipal energy sector-related environment projects. Previous to that, he was sustainability project manager at KDC and a climate change consultant at Toronto Atmosphere Fund. He holds an Honours degree in Earth and Environmental Science from McMaster University and is currently enrolled at Duke University’s Business Analytics post-graduate certificate program.
“Arshan won us over with his impressive portfolio of sustainability expertise,” said Trevor Lui, director of operations and sustainability. “His enthusiasm, experience and leadership ill enable us to pursue our sustainability goals with maximum focus and effect.”
