Joyride 150 Bike Park expects to open within a month.
Joyride one50 Indoor Bike Park, a 90,000-sq.-ft., indoor facility, is slated to open in Markham, Ont., about 45 minutes north of downtown Toronto, within a month.
“We are aiming for the first week in December,” says media director Shannon Bentley.
The park will feature beginner/sport/expert sections, a foam pit and resi jump, rhythms and jump lines, a BMX street park, pump tracks and a cross-country loop with climbs.
It will also house concessions, bike rentals, bike storage and, in the near future, offer coaching services and a spin studio.
As a business meeting venue, “we have a private rental room that can be booked exclusively by groups of about 35 for table seating and about 80 for conference-style seating,” says Bentley.
With regards to park buyout rentals, for an event venue setting, special arrangement could be made, says Bentley, to book the park from Monday-to-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
