The International Association of Conference Centers-The Americas (IACC) invites hospitality educators to nominate students for the 2013 IACC Conference Center Industry Award.
The award includes a scholarship valued at $5,000, which is drawn from a fund dedicated to providing academic assistance to deserving students interested in careers in the conference-centre industry.
Undergraduate students in their junior or senior year, or post-graduate-level students, would be excellent prospects for this award.
Any outstanding candidate(s) should meet the following criteria:
•Full-time, active student currently pursuing hospitality or related degree in a college or university located in the U.S., Canada or Mexico.
• Minimum grade point average of 3.30.
• Can demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in the conference-centre industry.
• Previous winners ineligible.
