NEW YORK — Hyatt Times Square New York has debuted its newly designed second-floor Salon Terrace, suitable for hosting events, it was announced Aug. 29.
Open year-round and overlooking West 45th Street, the updated terrace complements the hotel’s existing second-floor meeting areas. Featuring 4,000 square feet, the space offers three configurations of Salons, a Salon Boardroom and the Salon Foyer. Groups can combine the Salon rooms with the Terrace to host 270 reception-style, or use the second floor to host up to 100 attendees.
Chef Nick Pelliccione leads the hotel’s meeting and event food and beverage component that now includes a newly added barbecue area located on the Salon Terrace. Pelliccione and his team can serve up healthy pre-conference breakfasts, hand-crafted cocktails for after-work eventa, or fresh seafood and food carvings with ice sculptures for a classic dinner.
Food options include BBQ Butler Passed Canapes, which offer burger sliders, grilled shrimp salad crostini, grilled bacon-wrapped scallops and chicken skewers. On the drinks side, there’s the BBQ Beverage Package, comprising pitchers of lemonade, iced tea, sweet tea, strawberry lemonade or Arnold Palmers (iced tea and lemonade) infused with vodka.
Hyatt Times Square is close to Broadway theatres, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center. The 54-storey property features 487 guestrooms, 49 of them suites, with rooms averaging 347 square feet and offering floor-to-ceiling windows. Bar 54, the highest hotel rooftop lounge in New York City, is available for events and offers river-to-river views and a menu of specialty cocktails, wines and small plates.
Also onsite is the 4,200-square-foot, full-service Timeless – Marilyn Monroe Spa offering facials, manicures, pedicures, massages, hair styling, makeup application and body/skin treatments.
