LONDON, UK — Hotel Xenia, in London, is now part of the Autograph Collection, Marriott International’s portfolio of independent hotels, joining St Ermin’s and Threadneedles, it was announced Sept. 1.
Housed in a Victorian building in South Kensington, Hotel Xenia features 99 guestrooms, including the Xenia Suite, offering a private balcony and Turkish bath.
The Hotel’s restaurant, Evoluzione, is headed up by Michelin-starred chef Andrea Angeletti, whose menus feature traditional Italian dishes with modern European and Mediterranean influences. Specialties include spaghetti with roasted seafood, and saffron risotto with black olive sauce and pecorino cheese.
Living Wall bar offers cocktails and Italian-style aperitifs.
Opposite the bar is Xenia Lounge, serving morning coffee and evening drinks. The Living Lounge is outfitted with an 84-inch 3D Ultra HD TV, pool table, ping-pong table and a selection of board games. The hotel is also home to a heated herb garden, and a humidor offering Cuban cigars available for sale.
