Hilton Worldwide has opened its ninth property in Thailand, the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok. The company is also celebrating its 30th anniversary operating in the country.
Located in one of the city’s central entertainment, shopping and business districts, the hotel has 280 deluxe rooms and 25 suites. Its meeting and event spaces include a 4,320-sq.-ft. ballroom that can accommodate groups of 100 (H-square) to 460 (theatre-style) people; a 729-sq.-ft., third-floor “Boardroom” with conference seating for up to 17; the “Living Room,” a 729-sq.-ft. space for groups ranging from 16 people (U-shaped) to 50 (banquet and theater); and the “Study Room,” 1,080-sq.-ft. room for groups of 30-80 people.
In addition, business travellers can held interactive meetings in a trio of meeting rooms—Summit I, Summit II and Summit III—each of which is styled like a New York penthouse and equipped with a Bofi kitchen and state-of-the-art audiovisual technology.
Hotel amenities include:
- rooftop infinity pool
- fully-equipped, 24-hour Precor gym
- business centre
- hotel-wide Internet access
- two specialty restaurants: Scalini, the hotel’s main dining area, serves 1920s-inspired fine Italian-American food; and Mondo, which serves a modern Mediterranean menu
