Lobby Lounge
Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale has completed the first phase of a multi-year renovation.
Rebranded in 2015, the 374-room property now has an updated exterior arrival area, and bright, airy lobby designed by Toronto-based Chapi Chapo Design.
In addition, it has a new general manager. Peter Eriksson joined Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale earlier this year from the five-star Hilton Stockholm Slussen in Stockholm, Sweden. Along with his international hotel background, Eriksson brings a new vision for the guest experience rooted in luxury and the Scandinavian concept of Lagom (sense of balance, of things being “just right”).
“The rebranding and revamping of the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale has provided an opportunity to reintroduce the uniqueness of this suburban hotel to our new and returning guests,” said Eriksson. “I’m also excited to bring a new perspective to the hotel that encourages each member of our staff to make a difference every day in providing outstanding service to our leisure and meeting guests, as well as in their own daily tasks.”

Meet with Purpose Cut & Create Lunch
On the meeting side, the property has recently launched its Meet with Purpose program, which aims to bring “mindful meeting,” “mindful eating” and “mindful being” to participants. One component of the program is the “Cut & Create” lunch. This interactive dining experience lets delegates clip local, fresh-grown greens for their salads, which helps to reduce food waste. It also offers instructor-led meditation and power walks throughout its 15-acre property and local trail system.
The Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale has 40,000 square feet of meeting, wedding and exhibit space, which can accommodate 10 to 900 people. Its 40 function rooms include the 9,120-square-foot Graydon Hall Ballroom.
