Delta Hotels & Resorts, The Gold Eagle Lodge and Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre are the winners of the Hotel Association of Canada’s 2013 Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence.
The Hall of Fame Awards Program was developed by the Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) to recognize members (individuals, companies or properties) that have demonstrated significant accomplishments, exemplary leadership and tireless commitment to Canada’s lodging industry.
Winners are recognized in three categories.
Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre, located in Parksville on Vancouver Island, was the winner in the Humanitarian category. The Gold Eagle Lodge in North Battleford, Saskatchewan took home the award in the Human Resources category. And Delta Hotels & Resorts received the honour in the Green Key Environment category.
“The goal of HAC’s awards program is to reward strong standards in the industry that will enable Canada to remain competitive,” said Tony Pollard, HAC president. “We are pleased to honour the 2013 award recipients, whom we feel represent some of the finest examples of professionalism, quality and excellence.”
The HAC Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence will be presented on February 12, 2014 at the Hotel Association of Canada’s Conference in Toronto.
