MEMPHIS, TENN. — More than 17,000 square feet of meeting and event space is taking shape at The Guest House at Graceland, a 450-room luxury resort under construction in Memphis, Tenn., adjacent to Elvis Presley’s Graceland Mansion, and expected to open Oct. 27.
Featuring 17-foot ceilings, the Grand Ballroom accommodates nearly 900 people for banquets and 1,345 for receptions. Four smaller meeting rooms — Blues, Rock & Roll, Country and Gospel — range from 400 square feet to 800 square feet. In addition, the Lawn at The Guest House is a manicured outdoor space than can be tented and holds approximately 400 people, reception-style. A 464-seat Guest House Theater will be available for presentations, keynote addresses, live performances and movies. In addition to catered functions, The Guest House offers five dining options, including two full-service restaurants.
The largest hotel project to be built in Memphis in more than 90 years, the resort will feature 430 guestrooms and 20 themed luxury suites sporting design and decor supervised by Priscilla Presley; an outdoor swimming pool; fitness room; concierge service; and valet and self parking.
The Guest House is located about 10 minutes from Memphis International Airport and will offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel, and will also provide shuttle service to Beale Street, in the city’s downtown.
Inspired by the Southern hospitality that Presley showed his guests, each aspect of The Guest House at Graceland reflects his personal style and the character of Graceland Mansion.
