The Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) has selected GES Canada as its official service provider for customs brokerage services.
Since 1999, GES has streamlined the customs process for many planners, exhibitors and facilities across Canada. As the official supplier for customs brokerage services, GES will work closely with the MTCC team to facilitate customs clearance and transportation for conventions, trade and consumer shows as well as special events.
“We are excited to partner with GES to provide customs brokerage services for our customers at the MTCC,” said Lorenz Hassenstein, general manager of the MTCC. “GES has a proven track record for exceeding customer expectations. Our partnership will ensure quality service and provide added value for planners looking to bring meetings or events to Toronto.”
GES also currently operates as the official show decorator at the MTCC and has partnered with the facility to create high-quality, successful events since 2003. As the leading supplier for Canada’s top 50 shows, GES will continue to provide general contractor and transportation services for events at the MTCC. In the past five years, GES has achieved a satisfaction rating of over 96% in customer evaluations.
“We are excited about the opportunity to grow our partnership with the MTCC and look forward to taking a key role in facilitating the execution of highly successful events at the MTCC” said Scott Irvine, General Manager of GES Canada Limited.
