KO OLINA, OAHU, HAWAII — Four Seasons has unveiled its renovated property in Ko Olina Resort, the 642-acre planned resort community on the western shore of Oahu, Hawaii, it was announced June 28.
Following a $500 million renovation, Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina’s 371 guestrooms and suites feature a private lanai terrace, and nearly all provide ocean views via floor-to-ceiling windows.
Also onsite are three newly-designed restaurants: La Hiki, offering six modern pan-Asian cuisines; Fish House, located on the edge of the resort’s beach; and Italian-themed Noe.
Additional amenities include a 35,000-square-foot spa and fitness complex with an ocean-view, five-court Jim Courier tennis facility; family-friendly and adult pools with beach cabanas; two ballrooms; and five function rooms. The property also features a new, historically inspired wedding chapel in Four Seasons’ tropical gardens.
Ko Olina offers a Ted Robinson-designed golf course with a golf academy and full staff of PGA instructors. Since 2012, Ko Olina Golf Club has been home to the LPGA’s LOTTE Championship.
Located a short walk from Four Seasons Resort O’ahu, the Lanikuhonua Cultural Institute hosts a collection of cultural and educational programs throughout the year that feature the music, mele (song) and hula of Hawaii.
Ko Olina’s four white-sand ocean lagoons are connected by more than a mile and a half of seaside pathways for jogging, walking and meditative moments. Ko Olina Marina, the state’s largest deep-draft marina, offers snorkel and sunset cruises for spinner dolphin, whale, spotted eagle ray and turtle sightings and slips to accommodate luxury vessels on trans-Pacific voyages.
For the retail minded, Four Seasons Resort O’ahu’s Caprice and Wili Wili lifestyle shops feature resort wear and accessories. Ko Olina Station and Center boutiques include Pineapples Boutique and Kids, The Plantation and Honolula Surf Co. and Island Sole. Monkeypod Kitchen by chef Peter Merriman headlines a collection of local eateries serving up plate lunches, sushi and pizza.
