Fairmont Hotels & Resorts will be introducing a Chinese menu program at its worldwide collection of more than 60 properties worldwide.
To be phased in throughout 2012, the new program will provide enhanced culinary choices for Chinese guests travelling abroad.
As part of this customized offering, Fairmont has introduced a number of authentic Chinese dishes to its catering and restaurant menus worldwide, and will also introduce new service-delivery elements aimed at a Chinese clientele.
For example, congee, traditional rice porridge, will be offered at breakfast. A variety of loose leaf teas, including authentic white, black, green, oolong and flowered teas, locally sourced by the Metropolitan Tea Company Ltd., will be served at meals and will also be made available through in-room dining.
