David Sher has been appointed director of food and beverage at Fairmont Chateau Laurier, in Ottawa.
Sher brings a wealth of food and beverage experience – gained in Canada, the U.S. and Israel – to the Chateau Laurier.
In the U.S., he has worked at the Sheraton Stamford, in Stamford, Conn., and the Millennium Broadway and RIHGA Royal Hotel, in New York City.
He also spent time in Israel, as food and beverage manager at the Sheraton Tel Aviv.
More recently, he worked in Toronto, at the InterContinental Toronto Yorkville and Sassafraz Restaurant.
