The 184-room Matrix is situated between the city’s business and government districts. Its décor blends clean minimalist lines with sleek and textural natural stone and wood, and art in warm hues of silver, pewter and platinum throughout the hotel. It has 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting space for groups ranging in size from 10 to 200+ people.
Metterra Hotel on Whyte
Located on Whyte Avenue in the centre of Edmonton’strendiest neighbourhood, the 98-room Hotel Metterra was described as “the city’s best boutique lodging” by Condé Nast Traveler in June 2017. The property’s decor combines natural wood furnishings and textured upholsteries in organically inspired colours, with global artifacts and unique art, to create an eclectic design aesthetic.
