Ground-breaking has taken place for the Delta Prince George Hotel, the first four-star hotel to be built in the City of Prince George, British Columbia.
Scheduled to open in 2015, the Delta Prince George is the result of a $35 million investment. Once complete it will have 170 ModeRoom™ guest rooms, nine extended stay suites and an “extravagant hospitality suite.” Its state-of-the-art amenities include restaurant and lounge, fitness centre with indoor pool, a business centre and more than 7,000 square feet of meeting and conference space (4,000-sq.-ft. ballroom).

Delta Prince George is owned and being developed by River City Hotel Management Corporation, and will be managed by Delta Hotels and Resorts. Over 15 months of construction, there will be an average of 120 construction jobs. Once complete, the Delta Prince George will provide more than 100 jobs for Prince George.
