WASHINGTON, D.C. — Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton’s luxury, design-forward hotel brand, has opened in Washington, D.C.
Located on New York Avenue at the gateway of the mixed-use CityCenter DC, the 360-room, 10-floor Conrad Washington, DC features 32,000 square feet of meeting space, all above ground level.
In addition, there is Summit The Rooftop at Conrad, a bar, lounge and event terrace providing panoramic views of the city. Interior architect Rottet Studio designed the look, throughout the property, in a style of restrained minimalism.
Offering a personalized guest experience is a full-service club level located on the tenth floor. A first for the Conrad brand, the Sakura Club offers guests exclusive services, including a made-to-order menu available throughout the day, a Japanese whisky collection and a traditional afternoon tea.
The property’s signature restaurant, Estuary, by Bryan and Michael Voltaggio, serves elevated farm-to-table cuisine highlighting seafood from the Chesapeake Bay.
Also bringing local flavour to the property is a contemporary art collection that pays homage to Washington, D.C.’s historical roots.
As part of Hilton’s plan to double its social impact investment and cut its environmental footprint in half by 2030, Conrad Washington, DC will partner with DC Central Kitchen on a culinary internship and training program for youth.
On top of that, the hotel will integrate Hilton’s food waste training program into its kitchen operations and partner with Clean the World to recycle soap from guestrooms.
Augmenting the guestroom and meeting space is 30,000 square feet of luxury retail space on the ground floor.
