Chris Gowe.
Chris Gowe has been appointed director of sales at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Gowe brings 18 years of experience in sales, leadership and event management.
While in Los Angeles, he was vice-president of West Coast Gift Group, with event-management company DMG World Media.
Prior to that, he held the role of vice-president for the Canadian Gift Group, based in Toronto, overseeing the execution of nine shows annually.
In his new position, Gowe will work with the Centre’s partners to develop joint initiatives.
