LINCOLNSHIRE, ILL. — Chicago Marriott Lincolnshire Resort is undertaking a $22 million renovation that will introduce two new restaurants, add a full-service Starbucks Café and new spa, and renovate all 389 guestrooms, it was announced last month.

The hotel announced a $20M renovation.
Renovations were expected to begin in December and be finished in the second half of 2017. The project will be completed in concurrent stages with minimal interruption to travelers and events.
The Chicago Marriott Lincolnshire Resort will feature the Marriott Greatroom lobby offering food and drink options as well as free Wi-Fi.
In addition, the renovated property will feature Marriott’s latest M Club Lounge, an area reserved just off the lobby for Elite and Club paying members and offering complimentary food and beverage options featuring hot breakfast, evening drinks and hors d’oeuvres and premium beverages throughout the day. Accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the M Club Lounge offers free Wi-Fi, printing and power plug-ins.
Led by executive chef Pierre Daval, two new restaurants will be announced in spring. Each eatery will offer seasonal ingredients sourced from the resort’s on-site farm and apiary, as well as locally sourced meats, produce and dairy.
All guestrooms will feature platform beds to align with seating; contemporary wall graphics with jade and teal schemes; varied supportive seating, and flexible workspaces. In most king bedded accommodations, bathtubs have been replaced with walk-in showers and spa-like lighting.
A new spa will offer a menu of beauty and relaxation services. Also scheduled to be renovated is the porte cochère, which will feature a soaring, sky-lit structure.
Marriott’s upgraded features include two-way chat feature Mobile Request on the Marriott Mobile App; Netflix programming available in-room; and Bluetooth-enabled guestroom locking systems allowing guests to use their cellphones as room keys.
In meeting rooms, technology will be updated to include high-speed Internet and signal routing technology. The renovation project will also overhaul the King’s Wharf restaurant space.
Close to downtown Chicago and O’Hare International Airport, the hotel features four restaurants and lounges, 40,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and the Marriott Theatre. Recreation options include Crane’s Landing golf course, tennis centre and two pools.
