Le Centre Sheraton Montreal has nearly completed a $40-million renovation that has refurbished all meeting spaces, guestrooms, restaurants and public spaces.
As part of the makeover, the hotel will offer a Club Lounge, ‘Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft’ lobby meeting hub, and Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance.
All 825 upgraded guestrooms feature an oversized work desk, custom-designed ergonomic chair, high-speed Internet, LCD flat-panel television and MP3 docking station.
Meeting and convention floors sport new carpeting, wall coverings, furniture, lighting and sound systems, and a new air-conditioning system. Custom-designed banquet chairs feature storage for a laptop and personal items.
Planners who book a meeting by Oct. 31, 2011 (meeting needs to be held by March 31, 2012) will receive up to 100,000 bonus Starwood Preferred Planner Starpoints and choice of one of the following – 2 per cent off the master bill; accelerated room upgrades; or a complimentary staff office during the conference.
