SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Following a three-month refurbishment that added a contemporary, residential design, The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort, has re-opened its doors, it was announced Nov. 2.
A redesign of all 62 rooms and suites includes new contemporary furnishings, wood-grained entryways and plush interior carpeting, upholstered headboards, quartz stone countertops and vanities, and locally sourced artwork. Outdoor patios and terraces of each room feature new tiling and furniture, including round daybeds.
In addition, amenities and services have also been enhanced. The main lobby is now home to The Canyon Lounge, offering a daily, complimentary breakfast, along with premium boutique wines and craft cocktails throughout the late afternoon/evening.
Outdoors, the private infinity Canyon Pool features a new Pebble Tec surface, while adjacent cabanas have been revamped with new artwork and furnishings. Also available is a hiking gear lending program complete with backpack, trekking poles, snacks and first aid items for visiting the nearby Cholla Trail at Camelback Mountain.
In addition to these offerings, the newly renovated 62-room Canyon Suites provides enhanced services, including chauffeured luxury transportation to select local destinations.
Located at the base of Camelback Mountain, the 250-acre Phoenician offers two properties – a 585-room AAA Five Diamond luxury resort hotel and Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond boutique hotel, The Canyon Suites.
The property features recently redesigned, residential-style accommodations, cuisine offerings across such restaurants as Il Terrazzo, J&G Steakhouse and Relish Burger Bistro, a 27-hole golf course, 10 tennis courts, eight swimming pools, The Centre for Well-Being and Salon Mila spa complex, an activities program for all ages and interests.
Both The Phoenician and The Canyon Suites are owned by Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc., and operated by Marriott International, as part of The Luxury Collection.
