Erin Dawson has been promoted to the position of director of sales for the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre. Dawson previously worked on the sales team at the Convention Centre and was responsible for the Canadian association market.
In her new role she will provide strategic direction, leadership and management of the current sales group.
Her past work history includes over 15 years in sales and marketing where she has spent time with Delta Hotels & Resorts, the Hyatt Regency Calgary and Hotel Arts. She replaces Dave Sclanders who assumed the role of executive director for Meetings + Conventions Calgary, a division of the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre.
