“Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami is a home base for savvy explorers looking to discover the best Miami has to offer,” said Ricardo Mendes, the property’s general manager. “Our team of local experts has been specially trained to curate unique experiences based on guests’ individual preferences, while contemporary guestrooms deliver everything today’s travellers need and nothing they don’t.”
The 208 guestrooms and suites feature oversized balconies, salon-grade Drybar Buttercup blowdryers, BeeKind eco-friendly bath amenities, Keurig in-room coffee brewing systems, JBL wireless speakers, and artwork representing Caribbean culture.
Its 7,500-square-feet of meeting and event space can accommodate up to 525 people. Services and equipment available include video conferencing capabilities, overhead projectors, flip charts, whiteboards, lecterns, complimentary WiFi, creative menu development and full audiovisual support. The property’s two outdoor spaces—ballroom terrace and roof top terrace—each accommodate 150 guests reception-style.
Miami’s Brickell neighbourhood is a popular shopping area and home to several cultural attractions: Brickell City Center, Mary Brickell Village, Wynwood and Little Havana. In addition, several new arts institutions—Perez Art Museum Miami, Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and Institute of Contemporary Art—have opened in the area in the last few years. It is also home to a vast variety of art galleries.
“Brickell has become a vibrant destination with a global appeal for both business and leisure travellers and is full of thrilling attractions and sights,” said George Vizer, Hyatt’s senior vice-president of full-service operations, Americas. “We are proud to grow the Hyatt Centric brand in the Miami area and have Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami at the epicenter of the city’s redevelopment, offering the best of local cuisine, arts, and culture, access to global businesses and more.”
The Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami is the second Hyatt Centric brand property in Miami. The Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami opened in 2015.
