Ralf Strub, president and COO of Bellstar Hotels & Resorts
Bellstar Hotels & Resorts has promoted Ralf Strub to president and chief operating officer.
Strub joined Bellstar in March of 2010 as vice-president of operations with over 28 years of international and Canadian hospitality industry experience. He was born and raised in Switzerland where he started his hospitality career.
Previously, Strub held management positions in F&B, sales and marketing with Moevenpick of Switzerland and independent luxury destination resorts. Strub has managed turn-arounds of hotels and resorts in Switzerland, Canada, Republic of Maldives, and Austria. He has also managed a multi-concept restaurant company in Innsbruck, Austria, followed by development projects in South Korea, Italy, Germany and Russia. He’s also held the position of vice-president of Western Canada for Prime Restaurants of Canada.
Strub holds the highest award of quality management in the Swiss Tourism industry, the 2Q. His education includes a Master of Hospitality Management.
