The Business Events Industry Coalition of Canada (BEICC) has released the link to the Canadian Economic Impact Study Survey.
The primary purpose of the Canadian Economic Impact Study (CEIS) is to report on business events activity and to convey its economic contribution to the Canadian economy. The study also goes a step further by capturing and reporting on business events activity at the provincial/regional level and, where feasible, at the metropolitan level.
The fourth edition of the CEIS is being conducted by Ryerson University, Ted Rogers School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, under the guidance of Professor Richard Wade on behalf of the Business Events Industry Coalition of Canada (BEICC).
It is now time to refresh the figures and to do so, the BEICC needs the help of planners across the country. Please click THIS LINK to complete the survey and have your voice heard.
About the Business Events Industry Coalition of Canada
The Business Events Industry Coalition of Canada (BEICC) is the voice of the meetings and events industry in Canada. It is comprised of organizations dedicated to the betterment and promotion of the meetings and events industry. The MPI Foundation Canada transferred ownership of the CEIS study to the BEICC in 2014 to gain further collaboration, in-market support, and exposure for the study.
Business events, from huge conventions and trade shows to smaller conferences and seminars, have become a big business in Canada. It’s the business of getting people together to share ideas, make connections and do business. The Canadian Economic Impact Study (3.0) that was released in March 2014 indicated that the Business Events industry is a powerful driver of economic growth.
