Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas has announced several additions to its inventory of group event spaces.
The AAA Five Diamond and LEED Gold-certified resort has refreshed its convention centre, debuted a dedicated event space in The Shops at Crystals and opened two new restaurants, Carbone and Herringbone.
Scheduled for completion this month, upgrades to the 300,000-sq.-ft. convention space include:
♦ four fully customizable media walls that can be used for sponsorship displays, conference signage, meeting updates, news programming and more
♦ new high-tech furniture
♦ charging stations throughout the space
♦ new furniture groupings in the pre-function space that increase seating capacity by 40 per cent to accommodate more than 200 people

The Shops at Crystals & New Restaurants
Adjacent to Aria, The Shops at Crystals now includes 13,000 square feet of multi-level, flexible meeting space, which accommodates up to 980 guests. The space overlooks Aria’s colourful dancing waters of Lumia and the gently cascading waters of the Focus Water Wall.
The property’s two new restaurants also offer dedicated spaces for groups. Carbone, which opened in October, serves up classic Italian-American cuisine. A private dining room with one long table can accommodate up to 40 guests or can be divided into two smaller rooms. Other spaces include a semi-private White Room (capacity: 30), The Blue Room (seats up to 60), and The Red Room, which has a floor-to-ceiling Murano glass crystal chandelier (capacity: 105). Groups can book private events for breakfast, lunch, dinner and receptions.
Opening later this month, Herringbone will offer the property’s first indoor/outdoor dining experience. Helmed by chef Brian Malarkey, the restaurant’s menu features California-inspired coastal cuisine. The indoor dining room and outdoor patio will be able to seat up to 111, while the lounge will accommodate 66 guests.
