NEW YORK CITY – For the second year in a row, Annandale Villas, in Christchurch, New Zealand, has been named the World’s Leading Experiential Luxury Property at the World Travel Awards, it was announced Dec. 6.
“We are ecstatic to receive this leading luxury experiential World Travel Award again and congratulate the entire team for providing such an amazing experience to our guests from around the world,” says Callum Farnell, Annandale’s director of hospitality, who accepted the award at the gala, held at the Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, in The Maldives. Travel and tourism professionals worldwide vote on the awards.
Located on a 4,000-acre coastal farm, Annandale offers four luxury villas that include the restored five-bedroom Annandale Homestead overlooking the ocean and surrounded by gardens, a restored fernery, infinity pool, spa pool and tennis court.
Other accommodation options include the Shepherd’s Cottage, offering uninterrupted views of the ocean; Scrubby Bay, a four-bedroom cedar-clad beach house in its own bay; and Seascape, a retreat situated in a private bay.
