The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch has been accepted as the newest member of Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI).
The transformed Scottsdale, Arizona resort reopened in September 2015 following a $10 million renovation. It was formerly known as the Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center.
“Meeting professionals will absolutely love the beautifully transformed Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch,” said ALHI president Jim Schultenover. “The $10 million renovation touched nearly all aspects of the hotel, to bring the resort to an even higher level.”

The AAA Four-Diamond resort features 326 guest rooms and suites, all with the ambiance of private haciendas. Most of the rooms were enhanced as part of the renovation. Many offer views of the fairways, gardens and pool.
The resort has more than 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space. Its 50 meeting rooms can accommodate groups ranging in size from 10 to 1,200.
As part of its $10 million renovation, the resort significantly expanded and upgraded its outdoor meeting and event space. On the f&b side, it opened the new Bar Six40 as well as two new restaurants.
The comprehensive reno also included:
♦ lobby renovation
♦ complete remodeling and expansion of its main pool area
♦ enhanced main entrance
♦ new outdoor fire pits
♦ more landscaping throughout the property
Additional offering include the Luna Spa and the nearby McCormick Ranch Golf Course.
The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch is ALHI’s sixth member hotel in Arizona. The other properties in ALHI’s Arizona portfolio are:
♦ Fairmont Scottsdale Princess: This AAA Five-Diamond property has 206,000 square feet of meeting space, and is expanding to 750 guest rooms and suites in Spring 2016.
♦ Arizona Grand Resort & Spa (Phoenix): A 164-acre property, it has 644 suites and 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space.
♦ Loews Ventana Canyon (Tucson): This 398-room property is situated in the Sonoran Desert and has the Santa Catalina Mountains as a backdrop.

♦ The Wigwam (Litchfield Park): Set on 440 acres, this hotel has 331 oversized rooms and 100,000 square feet of meeting space.
