Rose has given generously to industry associations as well as non-industry charities. As an active member of the Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP), she has headed up a range of committees and served on the association’s board. She was also CanSPEP’s representative on the Business Events Industry Coalition of Canada—now Meetings Mean Business Canada, and served as the coalition’s 2016-2017 chairperson. In addition, she volunteers on-site at the Meetings Industry Euchre Tournament, an annual fund-raiser for cancer research. Outside the industry, she has contributed countless volunteer hours to Women Moving Forward and St. Joe’s Women’s Centre.
